“To those who belong to Christ (redeemed – made alive) the Holy God is a loving Father.  They belong to His family; they may approach Him without fear and always be sure of His fatherly concern and care – heart of the N.T. message.”

Are we naturally born children?  Adopted

What rights does an adopted child have?

What emotion does this verse evoke? (intimacy, affection, eagerness)

What does it tell us about our relationship with the Father?

 Gal. 4:4-7 diff. son – slave

                Son – secure relationship-acceptance; rights

                Orphan – insecure-fear rejection; no rights

 

If God as Father best paradigm understanding our relationship, what if I had no father or poor father?

What implications does doctrine have in our own families, ministries, churches?

 

Impt. Role model God’s fatherly care, protection and carrying model

Is. 40:2  her iniquity has been removed, she has received double from Lord’s hand for her sins.

               

                What do you do if know crummy understanding God as Father?
